Interview with a kigurumi girl
Well, I'm sure some of you have seen my "Surprise Photoshoot" blog and pictures from a couple of weeks ago. See the last blog entry, if not!
The brief summary is that Ejen Chuang, a professional photographer from Los Angeles (but originally hailing from Houston) is working on a photo book of American cosplay. He travelled to 6 conventions, including A-Kon, taking pictures of cosplayers for the book and is now working on putting it together for publication hopefully next year.
Well, in relation to that story, Ejen requested an interview with me about Kigurumi which I happily agreed to do. I hope that I did well to show kigurumi in a positive light. He was very interested and respectful through the entire process. The interview is here, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did doing it!

Well, I've teased a couple of times about a surprise to come, and my pic in the last post hinted at what happened. Basically, I got to spend a couple of hours with a professional photographer for a shoot the week before Labor Day. How did this happen? well...I'll tell ya!

Well, I finally got the results of my surprise that I mentioned before...I just need to sort though and get a few uploaded, then I'll tell the story of how it happened! For the moment though, a teaser...
Foiled by bad weather and internet issues...
Well, my big surprise did happen, I'm just waiting for the results to be sent to me so I can share them!
But...tonight I was going to cam for a bit and my internet connection and bad weather conspired against me so it didn't happen. I was able to Skype with a friend for a short while but ran out of time for a real cam session. We've got a couple of snapshots from it I may post, but the quality of screencaps across the internet is...well, not great. Maybe I will tho, just for something new!
